so im crusing along at 65 mph and decide to put my foot into to keep up to speed while climbing up a fairly large incline and nothing. a few seconds later i got my throttle back. its happened a couple times here and there. any info would definately be helpfull as my local dealer doesent want to deal with me unless thier is failure that can be proven! 02 2500 6 speed 2wd

Till a week ago i would say VP-44 be in the last 2 week i have bad map sensors. Try a map sensor 1st a lot cheaper fix.

Have you checked for codes, on off three times then leave switch on,codes in odometer window. dont start the engine during the on off sequence. post the codes ,someone will help you out. hope this helps.

Dead pedal,no codes

While on the subject. No codes 10psi Idle, 7 wot, 2nd vp w/intank pump. have to run at 1/3 throttle. Any more throttle, truck starts slowing down. Any thoughts? Any solutions? Parked for the time being.

thanks for the info, ill price it out and possiblly order one

Check your codes first as FourBarR suggested. Hope it's not the VP but it sounds just like mine when it went.

I would leave both battery cables off for 24 hours, then re connect. Before starting turn ignition on, push gas pedal to floor very slowly, hold for about ten seconds, release slowly. Do it twice, drive truck and let me know.

Are those pressure readings pre or post filter?. If pre I would change the fuel filter first then go from there. If post those pressures are ok.

The readings are post filter..... the readings are lower(10,7) after in tank pump was installed. I changed the filter yesterday... no joy! Will reset APPS today and see what happens.
