A) April 17- Park brake released but warning light stays ON . Intermittent. problem.
B) A few days later, both parkbrake and ABS lights stayed ON when parkbrake was released. This being intermittent, when I arrived at the dealer everything was normal and they told me to come back.
C) June 11 - 275 miles later - To the dealer: "Check E-Brake, found ratchet seized up, brake switch bent, ABS wire damaged. Check fault codes. ABS sensor and brake lightswitch replaced. Parking brake warning and ABS light is not ON anymore they wrote. "
Returning home, it started again, same scenario. While driving the warning lights came ON for a few minutes.
D) July 5 - 20 miles later - Back to the dealer and allowed the mechanic to use it over the weekend. Returned to the dealer a couple of days later because I never had the following:
With engine running or NO, handbrake released or NO:
- ABS light does not come ON at all
- the park brake light does not come ON at all .
I was able to talk to the mechanic and my only question was: did you made any change? He said NO.
Returned to the dealer and the conversation ended by: Your truck is too old.
Any possible help, please .
