I noticed that when i go into drive and the transmission lock in i hear a click noise from the rear of my truck. Its when i put it in drive and when i feel the truck engage i hear the click. Sounds like its coming from the axle or something under the truck. Anyone know what it is?

It could be a u-joint. It could be that the rear u-joint is loose in the pinion yoke. It could be play in the carrier bearing or yokes. It could be play in the transmission output yoke. It could be too much backlash in the rear axle ring and pinion. The first thing I'd do is get under the truck and start shaking, pushing and twisting the driveshaft. If it's torsional play, use a strap wrench to torque the driveshaft forward and backward. Sorry, but I don't have an easier answer.

OK i went outside and started the truck and put it in neutral and went out there and started playing... When i jerk the driveshaft i hear some noise Inside of the transfer case. Is this normal?

Then i put on the emergency park and enganed into drive and the sound wasnt there... . Kind of off but i guess it is gone for now :)

P. S. Thanks guys

what do you mean? should i take it in now or wait for it to explode... . then im guessing the dealer will blame the 35" bfg's :(
