Noisy Engine

Hi all first post, have been hiding up to now, I am having an issue with my 90 5.9 727 trans 4x4, lots of noise from the front of the engine, need to find the problem in the old days one would pull one belt at the time and I would find the spot but with the one belt set up??? O must mention new alternator 6 moth back must mention 154K on the clock.

Might be the AC compressor , might be the Alternator or could be the KDP

Thanks for the reply's, the noise is more of a loud raddle than a bearing squealing. some time back there was an article of front damper failing?

With the belt off wiggle the pulleys, spin them, look over the damper. See if there is a wobbly somewhere. Use a motor stethoscope to listen with. just be careful with that.

My a/c clutch made a loud rattling noise before it went tight. Inspect the clutch, clutch gap, and maybe try a non-a/c belt.
