Edge Juice Attitude install - Where to put it?

Is there anyway to recalibrate my speedometer without going back to the dealer? I will do just about anything to avoid them if possible. I am looking at going to the 295 Nitto tire which looks like about 606 revs to the mile. My stock 265s are about 638. I use my truck in business and write off the mileage so I do not want to give up any $$ to the tax man by recording a false lower mileage on my trips. Thanks

Some of the performance boxes (Juice/Attitude) allow you to set the tire size. Dont know about the downloader boxes, but they probably do also. Of course $700 - $1000 is a little high just to set tire size. My dealer reprogrammed mine for nothing in about 5 mins.

Does the Juice/Attitude change the factory speedometer or just display corrected speed on the Attitude's screen?

I dont know. My rev for my 315s are already set. On the attitude you can program the circumference of the tire in the tire size, which I assume is passed to the computer as the rpm. But that is a question that I can't answer. Next time I speak with Edge, which should be Monday I will ask.

Is that actually an electronic module that plugs into the speed sensor? Or is it a reprogrammer that only does speed?

If your talking about the truespeed, you cut the sensor wire to the ABS plug and splice the unit in. The signal goes into the box, and is adjusted, and out to the computers.

You can adjust it as much as you want, and it has a switch so you can have two different tires sizes programmed.

All your cummins truck dealerships have the DRBIII tool to do this , also 1 company I found for my brother that has a box that goes in line with the speedo sensor that has a bunch of dip switches so you can cal. to any size tire . I will try to find the website and post it on here.

Be carefull about useing a DRB tool. I had a dealer try and do mine and the computer isn't exactly on the same page as your tires. My 265 70R19. 5s work out to be 34. 4" tall and the website (manufacturer) tells me 608 is right. Se my computer for 608 and no BS, its way off in the other direction. I did the math by hand and with tire diameter and rmps in 5th gear(of 6) and all, the computer thinks the truck has 39. 5's on it, a far cry from the 34. 4. We are gooing to put it on the dyno and try to zero it out with the scan tool that way, following our progress on the dyo that will give us an accurate mph. Good luck!!

The gps is the easiest but time consuming way to verify after programing by any method. I have never heard of any cummins dealers in my area with a DRB?

they do have scanners just not Drb's

All Dodge truck dealers should have a DRBIII tool, you are probably correct about Cummins shops not having the tool.

Well they probably have the option if they work on enough of the ISB's they just can't do the tsb's that are Dodge related. My Cummin big rig shop owns one.
