Anyone know of any "matte" or "satin" (as opposted to the tire shine) tire dressing?

I like the clean tire look but not to much into the real shinny "wet" look.

Is anything like that even exist?

Thanks

I've been using their "Grape" tire dressing for years. Other detailing products I've tried from them have all been excellent.

The tire dressing is a clear liquid spray. Spray around the edges of the tire and wipe/spread it with a small application sponge down to the wheel edge. Sounds time consuming, but it isn't. Leaves a satin smooth look. Won't fly off.

I spray SuperClean on a wet tire, brush it in to raise grime etc. and then pressure wash it off leaving a very clean tire look. There is no "finish" as such, just the original tire look. It is quick and easy.

Aerospace 303 Protectant is the best I have found. Not only does it look good, it provides UV protection for the tires. Ed B

Picked up a bottle of this today and I am throughly pleased with it. Just the right amount of shine and matte for my tires. While I was at it I did ALL of the rest of the plastic on the exterior. Also did my tonuea cover and it all looks great.

I highly recomend this stuff.

How long does Aerospace 303 hold up? Does it wash off in rain?

Another peeve of mine with tire dressings is how readily dust sticks to it, something that readily happens here in this desert environment without going off pavement.

Looks like this answers my question:

303 For Tires
303 Aerospace Protectant contains no petrochemicals or silicone oils and does not remove the protective waxes. 303 is actually absorbed into tires, delivering its unique set of powerful UV stabilizers into the tire polymer, supplementing and surpassing the UV protective action of the carbon black, and leaving a long-lasting flexible protective finish that is water repellent, detergent resistant, and will not attract dust. Ozone must eat through the 303 before it can get to the wax. 303 is an extremely effective anti-oxidant and anti-ozonant. 303 is the longest lasting, most powerful protective and beautifying treatment for tires and all other synthetic and natural rubber.

Vaughn, only had it for a week but I am pleased. No dusting like I have noticed with other products and we had rain twice in the past week and it is still there. Still looks like it did when I sprayed it on, which even with other products and NO rain they tend not to hold up this good.

I quit using tire dressing. got tired of it flinging crap all over my paint. stupid oversized tires.

also its a PITA to get it all around the knobs of the tires.

Vaughn - I first found this stuff when we bought our hot tub/spa. It came with the service package to protect the cover. After using it on the cover and seeing how good it looked, I used it on my tires, exactly the "look" I wanted! I have had a number of people ask me what kind of tire dressing is that?
