OH!!!! is that what that was!!! I knew the food tasted like a bribe!!!!

sorry

If it's not one thing its another. I'm always game had been working on a letter when some things came up and I just flaked after that. Well how bout the 21st of Feb. sound good? I can get something sent out tonight or tomorrow. How about some input on location or do we just want to stick with Bakers Square great spot , just leaves a little to be desired in the food dept. ? Lets hear some ideas I'm ready. Jeff

Bradshaws sounds good I haven't made a breakfast in a while. The last time I was there I tried out a little extra horsies and was pleasantly surprised. The 21st is a good day for me. Unless something unforseen comes up I will be there. I guess I need to change my name since I no longer live in Magalia. That has been my dissapearing act for the last three or four months I moved to Oroville. I guess I need to be ORODAMRam now... ... ... LOL

I'd love to, but Feb 21st is no good for me :( I don't have many open Saturdays until the end of March. Sundays are pretty open though... .

Tom

I'm pretty much open anytime, barring something unusual...

Site isn't particularly an issue either, as long as it's reasonably freeway accessable - us old coot country boys get lost real easy!

Hello,

Does anyone know what happened to Nowell Thomas? I used to live in El Granada, CA and just read of his passing in Issue 43. ColoradoDave

Nowell died suddenly from hemmoraging in the brain as I understand it - a GREAT loss to us west coasters, and the TDR in general - he is missed... :( :(

Dave:

click on over to the Competition forum and go back about 75 days or so, you can take your pic of threads to follow, Nowel left us on 12/07/03, one day after his 46th birthday.....

THE FORD GUY

RIP NOWEL

Nowell

Gary and Big Jake,

Thanks for the reply. I knew Nowell for quite a few years. Before he was a TD guy he used to come into my shop and ask a million questions about how I liked my 96 3500 TD. He finally bit the bullet and bought his red 2500 4X4. Then the questions started about what I had done to mine to increase the HP and Torque. I swear I had to answer a thousand questions. Then it happened. He got the go fast fever. He started slow and then went crazy! Every time he came into the shop he had something new. Dual turbos, stick to automatic, LP & Nitrous injection, etc. , etc. , etc. I'll never forget him dragging me out in front of the store and lighting up all four tires!! (This in a shopping center, mind you. ) I will miss his enthusiasm and love of that Dodge. He even started his own company (Performance Diesel) in addition to his HVAC business. Well, I'm sure wherever he is, he is out in front of the pack. R. I. P. Nowell: You will be missed... ... ... ...

... and lighting up all four tires!!

Nowel touched many people and could do many things, but how'd he ever spin all fours in a 2WD rocket? ;)

P. S. There are pictures of his service under my Reader's Rigs, Dave.
