May Madness 2003 Schedule

MAy Madness 03 a success!!

Picked out the next two dates to meet. April 26th and May 17th, moved the May date up for Memorial Day hope to see a big group. One question though was everyone happy with our spot I thought it was pretty good lots of parking and seemed like good seating lets hear from ya and if consensous is pretty good we'll make the next 2 there let me know this week so we can set it up. Take care and see ya in a few. Jeff

Jeff,

Bakers Square seemed to work well for the group and as you said plenty of parking and seating. Looking forward to the next meeting.

Rich

OK, we're in. I liked the space that we had in the parking lot (but not as much as that Edge box that I got to try out!!!).

And, how about making May 17 a day for our Armed Forces? Let's show some pride in our Warriors and their accomplishments. You know, some flag wavin' and tons of support. It's because of what they do that we can do, right? We can have our meeting and let all of West Sac know that we haven't forgotten those who are willing to give up the most precious gift of all for this great nation.

My deepest appreciation to all of you who have served or are now serving. You are all Heroes in my eyes and I swell with pride whenever I think of you.

God Bless you all.

Darn!! you guys always seem to pick a Saturday I'm already booked solid for... . What time will this be? Another morning thing? If so, I should be able to make it. I have a Lodge dinner that night that I have to start getting ready for (i. e. cooking) at around 2:00 PM.

Hey Bill (Kickin'), I got my new bumper in today, will be installing it this weekend. If we both make it to this April 26th event, can you bring me a set of those nipple rings for the new bumper? Let me know how much you want for a set :D

Tom

Tom, got a set saved for ya. Can't wait to see the new bumper!!! I'd love to help you guys install it but have other plans for Saturday.

Oo. Oo.

I am in for the 26th I think the location was great easy access, good food (except the grounds in my coffee) and great service. But I must say I don't think anything can compare with the black box that made the big smile I had on my face :D :D

Do we have any events in the works for April IE, camping or such? It is getting to be that time again I think.

Magaliasram,

As of today there is nothing planned for camping. I am all for a group camp out. At the next meeting bring up the idea and a possible location.

Also if anybody has any ideas for a group event, four Wheeling camping, trail riding, beach party, Bar-b-que/wrench day, let us know at the next meeting.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the next meeting.

Brian

Any Ideas of where everyone may want to go? Black Butte is a pretty good all around recreation spot. There is a area for off road vehicles, a lake for fishing, skiing and campsites for trailers and tents.

Thought it may be a good idea to throw some ideas out before the next meeting to get a feel of what everyone is interested in.

There is a Norcal group campout at Sycamore Ranch being planned for early May over in anothet thread - It was also mentioned at the last meeting...

Black Butte?

Magaliasram, where is Black Butte? What town is nearest?

Never mind, I found it up by Weed I think.

no black butte's by Orland-- hey megalia keep me posted--

nowell you might want to check out orland- there is a guy who lives there that can make the red rocket fly-- I've heard about some of his projects- :--)

:-{} Black Butte was a suggestion. I am not by any means trying to step on any toes. I was just thinking we could possibly do more than one event a month. Or possibly suggest alternatives if there were people interested in other activities.

I recently made a purchase on a new 5th wheel and I am anxious to use it. In fact it is so recent I don't pick it up until Saturday. I am picking it up in Sacramento and will be staying somewhere in it on Saturday night. Yup it is suppose to rain but hey I gotta try it out and make sure everything works on it. Might as well make sure it doesn't leak while I'm at it.

So that is the reason for my suggestion it doesn't have to be on the same weekend in fact I would like to attend the Grass Valley outing. But if anyone is interested in doing more camping let me know I am not sure I am free every weekend but I would like to try and do a little more than I did last year.

the idea of going camping sounds *****en. My wife is begging to get out of the house.

Also does anyone know how to get a TDR sticker, The ones i recieved were misplaced before i had a chance to put it on my truck.

Check the signatures ... 5" exhaust ... drilled airbox ... straight pipe ... HVAC's shorty out the side 5" ... should be a nice quiet campout. :--)

I figured ... good ... wifie stays @ home. ;)

Looks like an easy route for me. N to Susanville, head West past Lake Almanor & down to the valley.
