Nor. Calirado/Wyo Convoy to ATS Weekend

Any interest in the convoy post here. We'll start in Cheyenne Saturday morning from the McDonalds at I-25 and College Drive.

I might hook up with ya (weather permiting) in Ft Collins. What time are you leaving Cheyenne?

I'll plan on being at the McDonalds at I-25 and College and ready to roll by 7:00 AM. ATS starts at 9:00.



I will make a stop at the South Bound Rest Stop on I-25 just north of the Harmony road exit, as we have met up there a few times and it works pretty well. We should roll into there about 7:30-7:45 ish.

Sounds good Jordan, we'll swing in again like last time. I won't have the Mrs. along, so we won't schedule a use of the facilities. :-{} :-laf . I swear they made the road rough starting about a mile north of that rest stop so that everybody driving a 3/4 ton or more would have to stop for a moment. Maybe they get fed funding by having a higher head count?

Just a quick reminder guys!

ATS has moved. Fairly easy, we'll just stay on I-70 West for one more exit past Kipling. It'll be the Ward Road exit. We'll take Ward Road north for not very far at all and we'll want the left lane as soon as we get on Ward. If ya get separated, just look for a HUGE gray building with lots of ATS purple on it.



I won't be convoying home, I'm staying down there with the in-laws and going to at least part of the dyno day on Sun (just to watch, this year).

I am looking at the map. Where about is this rest stop and what time will the convoy be passing this location? I might be able to still make the event and could hook up with the convoy. I can be reached at: cell- 970. 389. 0216



EDIT: I just found on the map what is refered to as "Welcome center at Fort Collins" at exit 268 on 44 road. I presume this is the rest stop you will be at? If you could give me a rought time estimate of what time you will be passing by i could meet you there.

Hey Frank! The rest stops are just north of Harmony road exit. We'll be tearing into the south bound rest stop at about 7:30-7:45 ish. We'll be taking the same route as last time. I-25 south to I-76 west to I-70 west a few miles to the Ward Road exit, north a few blocks and it's on the west (left) side of the road. There won't be any in flight meals, though I may hit Mickey D's early if any care to join.



According to mapqworst it is exit 265

It's looking right now like I will have to work 7-7! Darn Nuclear Surety Inspection.



What the big deal with nuclear weapons? They all act like they could be dangerous or something.



Of course, being in charge-- maybe I should give myself the day off? Bet that would go over well with the guys working 12s on the weekend- eh?



Don't count on me-- I have high hopes and that's about it, unfortunately.

Frank, We'll pull into the rest stop. It looks like just Richard, possibly Marshall and I are coming from Cheyenne, so a two/three truck convoy might be easy to miss if we were to do a driveby.
