Well, I was asked to remove the posts, but for some reason the post did not completely delete for some reason.

We have a number of members here who belong to and participate in both groups, surely this is not viewed as some sort of conflict of interest...

Gary, no, that's not it at all, it's due to the lack of space at the site to make sure that the people who are part of the usual NorCal group get a site first.

I am going if I can ever get to talk to the people at the lake. Everytime I call they are not there and one time they called back and I could not answer but they left 10 minutes after they called. I got the wife on it now so there is no escape.

I know what you mean, I tried to call up there all day today, in the morning there was no answer, then I tried calling around noon and the line was busy , I tried several times, and finally gave up around 4:30 this afternoon.

Ya need to get hold of Jeff, I sent him an email to resend the newsletter, but I think he's chasing some water in a ditch someplace. Maybe when he finishes watering the farmers

First Gary please convey are deepest sympathy to Linda and her family for the loss of her father, and I wish there was something more we could say.

The newsletter was sent! John thinks it is possible some spam filter may keep some from recieving letter? i'm sorry for any problems.

Well, at the moment that weekend is a GO for me

things are very fluid at this moment, please bear with me as I am the one who is responsible for this event.



We have limited space at the campground, we are also having trouble getting the campground to respond to reservations that have already been called in to the campground. I don't want to turn anybody away, but the details of this event were sent out to members of the "NORCAL DIESELS" group that regularly meets here in Sacramento by email.



This is meant to be a return to an "old-fashioned" event that I used to host a few years back. I want to give all those who used to attend a little heads up so they can reserve a campsite before I open it up to all.



I promise there is no "secret squirrel" stuff going on here, and I will make everything public as soon as I can.



we are also working on some "extra-curricular activities " at a nearby venue.



I urge all of you who have received the invite to this event to act fast if you need RV or tent space, as I can't keep the lid on this for too much longer.
