West Coast Nationals Truck & Tractor Pull Series

SF Bay Area Dyno Event

The 15th is great for me. This will give me the motivation to get the clutch in... . I might know a couple other guys who will go too. How many trucks can you do? Ryan

Ryan, I think the last time we did close to 35 trucks, 3 runs each rig. I am still trying to get up with the owner to discuss times and pricing, will keep everybody notified here.

What kind of clutch you gettin :D

BigBadDodge,

Do you know if they will be measuring both HP and TQ? I am asking this because the last dyno I was at they were only doing HP.

BBD.

I am trying to figure out how many camera batteries to bring. I figure 1 battery per 600hp truck. So if you are there, and CSutton is there thats 2. Brad Ponci is up to something, thats 3, and I have my fingers crossed for Stomp thats 4. Any others?

RonA (no battery required)

Is it a competition or a show off deal?

Whats up BBD? How ya doin?

Brad is going to be showing off :D

I am doing great, how about you ? hope you can make it man.

Sup guys

This will be a good event. Sounds like a lot of heavy hitters will be there. I better go out and weld my head on. I'll try to keep her together untill the 15th. I cant wait.

10-4 I will be there along with some of the other San Jose RamRunners. Let me know when the dyno sign up list is ready Scott.

I met with Brad this morning, here are some more details:

Going to be on the 15th of January, satarting at 8:00am and run till 5:00pm with a 30 minute break for the RPM staff to get lunch.

Brad is working with his web site engineer to get an online registration form up by the end of next week.

We are going to try and get 40 trucks dynoed, we did close to that in 2003 at 36 trucks, its very possible, if we get guy's to there rigs and get them warmed up in advance and staged, shouldn't be a problem.

The cost is going to be $75. 00 that includes 3 runs and an event T-Shirt.

There will be an award ceromony between 5:00 and 5:30 and trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place high horse power on #2 only, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for high horse power with alternative fueling (water/Meth, NOS, Propane etc... ) I am removing myself from compitition toward any trophy.

We will also be selling raffle tickets $1. 00 each or 15 for $10. 00 for a chance to win some really nice prizes, I hope to draw for prizes every hour.

I have connections with a local caterer and am still working the food issue, I will post a menu buy next week. Hot coffee and dougnuts in the morning a must

I would also like to make this like a swap meet, if you have any truck/diesel related items that you would like to sell or off load please bring them for all to see.

You do not have to dyno in order to come out and have great time just remeber its in Jan so bring the approprate clothing

Would anybody be intrested in dinner at Cattlemen's Steak House afterwards ? I know several of you are traveling a distenace, and I didn't know if you would like to get a bite to eat before heading out or if you would just be getting on the road afterwards.

let me know, and perhaps I can set up a room for us there.

Sounds like you have some great plans Scott, if you need any help give me a call. Sounds like a lot of work for one guy.

Blair:

Let the OLD GUY handle it... .....

It means so much to our SENIOR CITIZENS when they are able to put something together like this

:D :D :D

big jake

THE FORD GUY Oo. Oo. Oo.

Will there be a max on how many can dyno im thinking of dynoing mine just to see what im getting its all stock exept Rips 4'' and a AFE PG7 drop in. I would rather let someone with more mods or that traveled further to get a chance dyno if its limited. Sounds like its going to be a good time either way :D

Blair thanks for the offer budy Brad is helping me with this as well its not one man show. However you can run interferance for me with that old buzzard Ford guy above :-laf

BKenny: we had the cut off at 30 two years ago and ended up doing 38 so this year we are going to make the cut off 40. You never know though what might happen who might not be able to make at the last minute, perhaps a truck has problems and only makes one run giving us the extra time. we always run a standby list so if we get the 40 done and have time we move to the standby list.

Regards,

BBD

some of the lower powered guys like me won't be dynoing. . but would like to buy a T shirt iff'in he had them available in normal size [that would be 3XL for those runts in the crowd who don't know what normal size is :D]
