big jake

THE FORD GUY Oo. Oo. Oo.

I stopped at RPM after work today, there are 32 people signed up via the web page, that leaves 8 slots. If you plan on dynoing be sure to register online, if we get the 40 online that is it, and we won't have room for any more unless things go really good or for that matter really bad as well. Non the less secure your spot online

On onther note, Brad just had a ventilation system installed last week that vents through the roof and can handle stacks so no more of that cheap flex ducting from the Home Depot.

Don't forget about the swap shop as well !!!!

Is it worth putting my '03 HO on the Dyno that day to get a baseline before adding any major mods? I would really like to, but I don't want to take someone's spot who really wants his/her modded truck results.

BBD, I will not be able to make it to the Dyno event that weekend, as I will be hotshoting instead. I am sorry I can't make it but that will open up a slot for someone else to get on the dyno. BTW, I did sign up online.

Anyone have any old stocker tires I can throw on the rear end for this? Hate to get a lower number cause of 37's. I'll give 'em right back, I promise :D

Dyno Confirmation

I called RPM today and talked to Brad about confirming our registration.

He said after completing the online registration form, you should have got a window thanking you for registering. That was your only confirmation. If there was a problem with your registration he would have called or e-mailed you. So, if you did not get a call or a e-mail everything is okay.

At this time 34 trucks are signed up with only 6 spots left. Everyone after the 40 will get a message that they will be put on a standby list.

Brad also confirmed that Prime Media will be there doing an article on the event.

I just talked to Brad as well, I have been getting several PM's on this very issue. He is going to have the web master add the list of those registered to the web page for all to see. I know for a fact that you Blair and Cliff are on there so you can relax.

I should be posting some of the raffle prizes by the weekend. Edge, Superchips, and Magnaflow are a few of the sponsored manufacters.

Thanks BBD, Brad just called to talk with me and confirmed what you posted. It was others in he club that had questions so I was asking for them.

Bad news I don't plan on putting my truck on the rollers anyway nothing new to check out. I will be there all day to have some fun though !!! Oo.

How much difference will the tire size make? I've wondered that as well, but figured the gear ratio, speed, rpm etc should make the output fairly close... Are there any parameters that can be input to the dyno machine for the calculations?

Not sure about tire size but it makes sense that it would change it the numbers, I have always just dynoed with what was on the truck so my latest 646 rwhp figure is with 37" parnelli Jones dirt grips and 4:10 gears what ever that means

Just incase you all didn't catch it Brad has all those who have registered list on the site go here: DynoTuning.Com and click on the link that says "be sure and check our participation list here" still room availible for those who haven't registered as yet.
