I just got back from the event. It was a great turnout despite how cold it was out there. Adam Winslett's truck made a nice nitrous backfire when he made his run on the dyno. Hopefully, someone will post up that picture of it. All in all, it was fun. Dean at Orangevale Diesel did a good job putting on this event for being his first one. Its just too bad that MadDog didn't show up there like he said he would because everyone I talked to was looking forward to seeing him run on the dyno.

Cool event. Nice show of trucks (probably 40+). I got to make dyno runs for the 1st time. Most people agreed that their #'s were very low compared to other dynos because there was no load on the rollers, (or very little). That nitrous backfire was CRAZY! I was 40 feet away from the tailpipe, and my ears were ringing.

I also enjoyed it and despite the overall numbers I still recorded higher HP #'s then the Superflow at Poncis 2 months ago.

It was nice meating everyone.

Also there's a possable snow run in the works tomarrow up in Pollock Pines on Morman Immigrant (Iron Mtn. Road) at the Y past the lake...

PM me for for more details.

Dan :)

Free lunch, great coffe and doughnuts what more could a person ask for. I think it would have been really great if they had of put up a white board with some numbers. It got too cold for me to stick around except for the moments near the outdoor heating system. I too would love to see the picture of the big bang posted. I am not sure how many people were ducking when that happened. I do know the look on the guys face running the dyno when he came flying out of the shop was deffinately a Master Card moment. Although I didn't run on the dyno I did enjoy the BS session.

That was a great time. I thought for sure I would be getting a tow home after the small nuclear blast that blew my exhaust system out of the hangers(Seriously it did) LOL. I almost had to change my underwear after that one. I thought for sure there was going to be parts on the ground. I will get the pic from Chris and post it.

I went and played with it on the street and got it to run. I re-hooked later in the day and made 674/1423 lbft. Then I looked down and forgot to turn the Drag Comp on. LOL, so I'm happy about those numbers with no box. I couldnt let the D-max win, he has been winning too much lately. See everyone at the next one.
