Okay fellers here is good oportunity to get a pull in first part of the year, J and H performance has been working on putting an event together in conjuction with a large car show, its going to be at shasta raceway park, at the shasta county fairgrounds in anderson. CA that is about 5 miles south of redding on hwy 273. it will be sat. april 23rd. 7:00 p. m. as of now. should be a fun time being in conjunction with the car show and all. hope to see everyone there. we are going to have stockers ,diesels, and country mods, with the extreme diesels pulling last.

you figure out your stutter/hesitation issue yet? Denis called and asked me what I thought the other night. If you've checked easy stuff (fuel filter and LP pressure) and that didn't fix it, then it's probably your VP44.

Well I am back from J&H, and the Anderson Boat and RV Show; I would like to say thanks to the folks at J&H for everything, and would like you all to know that we really promoted the pull next month on the 23rd. I had my truck on display at the Boat & RV Show all weekend in full pulling detail, with weights hanging on the front and all, even had a laptop with a digital projector showing sled pulling video’s, we handed out hundreds of flyers and answered thousands of questions about the event, man people are stoked for this and the turn out should be great. There were 4K folks that visited on Friday night 8K on Saturday and another 4K on Sunday the weather was beautiful. There is going to be radio advertising, and TV Commercials the week before the event also.



Looking like there will be street and mod, gas and diesel classes, mini tractors, and country modifieds as well. Its at the fair grounds which look pretty sweet, and we can start at 4:30 right after the Car Show is over, food venders etc….

How about trying to get in a drag race as well after the pull? The last dyno event J&H had (when you were down south pulling) they went to the Redding drag strip and we continued to have it out on the strip, it was alot of fun. Just a thought.

Mattymac I believe they want to start off slow and not try to grow this event to fast. I know it will grow more next year we will see about drags. I believe some folks will be drag racing down in Sacto that Friday.



Below is a copy of the flyers I handed out earlier this month with some more info on it. I talked to Harvey today and the local folks are so pumped up. Wait till they hear the radio adds and see the TV comercials. The guy who runs the race track is also pretty fired up wanting to make it a annual event
