Recently I installed a #8 plate and took the truck out on the road. Irecorded boost psi and egt at various speeds . I was just wondering if theses were normal? These are empty highway speeds.

speed boost EGT

75mph 8psi 800

70mph 6psi 750

60mph 2psi 650

also when I mash the fuel hard and accelerate from 60mph to top speed the egt will climb but never over 1200 degrees,It will drop back down pretty quick when I get off the juice. also when I shut down how cool should the egt temp be?

I would say that the numbers you have posted seem ok. With egt's, a lot of things can change your numbers. Head/tail winds, slopes, basically everything that affects the speed of your engine. Overall, I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers.

Sounds like you are right where I was a couple of years ago w/ the 230/605 plate. That's right about where I was running EGT and boost with the #12 (manual trans) plate.

Isn't the power great!!!!!:D :D

well with the foot through the floor all I have been able to get is 27 psi ,that is accelerating as hard as she will go from 60-top speed

do you guys think I should turn up the boost some to achieve 30 psi?I mean if it will help I will do it. Iguess that is what the allen screw is on the side of the elbow I installed. Should I call TST?

Also how much do I adjust the AFC starwheel?I have toyed with it a little and it seems that with the smoke comes a little more response it take off. Please anyone tell me how to get the most outta this #8 plate.
