Well we are back from the 4-Wheel Jamboree and I think im finally dried out. For those of you that didn't know what happened there on Saturday we had a tornado touch down approx. 4 miles from the fairgrounds.
Picture it if you will: 45-50 m. p. h. winds (reported on the weather channel). Myself and Dtroy and our friend Jeremy and another guy hanging on to a 10'x20' METAL canopy frame while standing in about 8" of water during the pouring rain and lightning that hit a telephone pole approx 200 yds from where I was. At one point I really thought that Dtroy was going to go for a the ride of his life. I think if we let go of it about 5 trucks would have been torn up badly when the canopy lifted off. Needless to say we got extremely wet. I now know what it is like to fish for king crabs on the bearing sea, minus the -40 degree temps. Anyway a good time for the weekend and cant wait till Numidia next Saturday.

Glad you all had some weight available to hold down the canopy.

Couldn't you have held up an umbrella with your spare hand? #@$%!
Nice job saving the trucks, though. Tom
