(Unofficial) N.E.P.A. Chapter of the TDR Springtime Meet n’ Greet.

I was sad I missed the Meet -n- Greet.

Instead I was being subjected to rain and cold way up North.

Silly border patrol agents actually let me come back. They'll let anyone into this country !

You should have used the line "Let me in or ill blow up this place" that would have gotten you in a little faster . . . .

Much, much faster. And I wouldn't have to worry about buying groceries, paying the bills, or buying home heating oil. It's real warm in Cuba.

F. Y. I Everyone:

I was just informed that Thursday, July 2, 2009 will be the first of weekly (from what im told) 4x4 & Jeep nights at the local Quaker Steal & Lube here in Scranton (well actually Dickson City Area). Lets try if possible to have a good diesel showing at this gathering. Im defiantly going to try to make it if my truck is back together by then. We are in the process of a rear disc brake conversion. . . .

Here is the link to the restaurant if anyone needs directions:

You already know I am.

If anybody reading this is going to Bloom this weekend, stop by and visit us. We'll be in the same spot as last year. If you don't know where that is, just look for the giant green Dakota.

We'll keep an eye out for you Brian.

Well we are back from the 4-Wheel Jamboree and I think im finally dried out. For those of you that didn't know what happened there on Saturday we had a tornado touch down approx. 4 miles from the fairgrounds.

Picture it if you will: 45-50 m. p. h. winds (reported on the weather channel). Myself and Dtroy and our friend Jeremy and another guy hanging on to a 10'x20' METAL canopy frame while standing in about 8" of water during the pouring rain and lightning that hit a telephone pole approx 200 yds from where I was. At one point I really thought that Dtroy was going to go for a the ride of his life. I think if we let go of it about 5 trucks would have been torn up badly when the canopy lifted off. Needless to say we got extremely wet. I now know what it is like to fish for king crabs on the bearing sea, minus the -40 degree temps. Anyway a good time for the weekend and cant wait till Numidia next Saturday.

Glad you all had some weight available to hold down the canopy. :p:p Couldn't you have held up an umbrella with your spare hand? #@$%!

Nice job saving the trucks, though. Tom
