(Unofficial) N.E.P.A. Chapter of the TDR Springtime Meet n’ Greet.

So I get a call at 6:30 tonight from my brother and he says that he went off the road and blew out the right front tire, so i had to bring him a jack and a spare

after about 30 mins. we got him back on the road, scratched up the side of the truck a bit and im sure his pride also.

We will check out more of the damage in the daylight tomarrow

THEN... ... ...

At 10:30 get a call from Ron...

Him and my brother went to go look for a piece of his bumper and to show Ron the scene. well he decided to turn around in what he thought was a parking lot. NOPE it was soft grass:-laf

So I had to pull him out, but first i must take pictures:-laf

A good time was had by all and even though it was cold it was worth the trip. Sorry it took me so long to get back here but I took a scenic route to just clear my head some and visit an old friend. The trucks were amazing and the newest "Fummins" member was a nice ride to look over. I also had quite a chuckle when the Lifted Flamed Ford slipped in and the kids were running over to the trucks followed by the parents. The meal and company was great but that was what made my day.

Here are the photos which I took and I need tog et a better camera for those not so bright days, but,it did ok. Here is the link to them for you all to look through and I'd be up for a Wednesday night invasion for their "truck" night,I'd bet it would be a real dandy... ... ... Andy

No, I just rather a little fresher of a trans than my 280,000 mile unit. A 6 speed would be nice too, but I'm not sure if i want to go that route. I don't think I would enjoy shifting a 6-er with 4. 11's... ... F*ck That

not quite a long block but....

Michael I have a 2001 55 block, pistons, con rods, crank, damper, oil filter housing, block is oringed but #5 piston is no good there is slight scoring of the wall in one spot can just about feel it with your finger. $200 let me know.

Can you beleive this thread is still alive since December of "05"

UPDATE:

Ok everyone, here it is:

1st annual NEPA TDR Springtime meet n’ Greet is going to be held on Sunday April 20, 2008 and im going to say that the time is to be 12 noon (Obviously we will be there early to shoot the preverbal B. S. and check out each others trucks before then. ) and the location will be the Petro Truck Stops Petro Truck Stops - Location Information - Iron Skillet, Petro:Lube, Travel Stores, Mobil Delvac, Truck Tires, PM Services, Diesel, CAT Scales, Blue Beacon Truck Washes as it has been for the past few events we have had. Lots of parking and good food for everyone. I will make a phone call to the manager down there and we can get the back room all to ourselves and we can just order off the menu like we always do.

Im going to try to put together a list so I have a number to give to the Petro so then know how many to expect. So let me know if you’re going to be there even if you are tentative let me know with a yes anyway.

The two things that I ask of everyone is one, try to bring a friend to see what this sickness is all about. And two treat the property at the Petro with respect because not only are we guests of theirs and we want to be welcome back but we are a representative of the N. E. P. A. (Unofficial) chapter of the TDR.

So we hope to see you all there.

Rob
