Since it is a Sunday, I might be able to come. :D Been itching to get on the rollers. Oo.

Bryan,

The 4/23 date is a saturday. ;)

I trust you can still make it to the party!!! Oo.

Dennis.

There is a fuel stop at the Minooka exit. One to the north [ small Citgo ] & another to the south [ pilot ]. Possibly the cheapest fuel stop is right down the street from the invent [ marathon ] . :D

Thus, no matter how much fuel we "burn " there's more close by. Oo.

The Minooka exit is 4 miles west of the I-55 & I-80 interchange, Exit # 122.

Look forward to seeing everybody!!!! :-laf Thru the soot!!!

Dennis,

Thanks for the map. It looks good.

Although, it leaves out the McDonalds & Wendys just before the stop sign at county rd. 3. :-laf

As you go across the tracks, its the first right turn .

Lets get sooty!!! :p

 Yep. Looked at the calender wrong. We'll see. May be in the field. Have to hope for rain, then.

bmoeller,

I know the hours you put in behind the wheel of the big truck. No problem on the date oops. Thats what we are in this together for. :)

I'm doing my pre rain dance for the night before the event to make mother nature unload on the fields for you. :-laf :-laf

Can't wait to see that truck on the rollers!!!! :--)

Have a great day,

Tod,

Who is going to tow my 2wd out of the mud ???? :(

My pre race rain dance is only for Bryan to make it to the dyno day. :p

See you soon,

Wont make the dyno event

I was planning on making the run down to watch the events but I volunteered to help build and install playground equipment at a local school that same day, plus I start moving to my new house as well, it will be a busy for me, Hey Wayne maybe you can get " I really want a bigger exhaust" Johnny55 to put one on, hell his wife would probably help you as she can turn a mean wrench, that's why his truck runs so well :--) :-laf :-laf

:D

Dave

I am still in Florida till the end of the week. I need to start making a list. I think I will put my self first on the dyno. Might as well embarrass my self right away !!!

Dennis,

You don't have to worry about towing me out of the mud. My truck doesn't see mud up close. It has a fear of dirt anywhere on it!! :p

Dave,

Was that me wanting a bigger exhaust????

Wrong Wayne. I'm still trying to figure out how to put those 6" stacks thru the cap on my truck. :-{} Now as to the offer of free female helper :-laf

We will miss you at the event. Has everyone enjoyed their new exhaust systems so far ?

Dennis #2,

Call me when you get a chance. I managed to get some Cummins lighted pens, Pins & 6" stick-on emblems at a great price. :D

I also found the other place for 1-2-3. :)

Are You Ready For some Power????

Wayne

I am going to try and make this - seems like the closest dyno event to Kalamazoo in awhile.

Ran all the way down to Three Rivers (about 45 min) to a shop that had a dyno for a day, guy charged me whatever - $40 or $50 and come to find out everybody knew it was off at least 100 hp and he still took my money. I think they all must have had a good laugh at my expense - I never went back, and won't.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and maybe I'll see you all there.

Eric,

Glad to have you at the event. We have some good times planmned at this event. At least for signing up [ my part]. :-laf

I've been on this portable dyno. Its works good. It the dyno for our charity event at Dave Goerend's dyno day.

Look forward to seeing you there,

Wayne

The guy running the dyno is a diesel head. Not just some guy who is looking for spark plugs. He will do a good job. His truck runs well into the 500+ range. We won't let him run I hope.

Wayne, I will give you a call later today

Man and his machine... ... ... ... .

I trust just about everybody on this site - we all do a pretty good job at keeping each other honest. And I'm not looking for people screwing others - just sharing my first dyno experience. -
