Drag Racing in Union Grove WI 5/22

OHIO Round-up @ Truck Pulls #6

Kinda stange though - I seem to pass so many CTD owners that seem to be oblivious to the fact that they are running a Cummins and should be proud of it! I've yet to spot a TDR emblem on anyones truck in these parts. I'm usually waving and whatever and they just look at me like I'm an idiot ---- So you guys better wave back when I get there!

-Eric

Eric, I agree. You see many people with Cummins that are oblivious to what they have. We will have plenty of HP on display on the dyno though.

Dennis

Eric Lee,

Come on over & visit even if you don't dyno at the event. :)

We are always glad to bench race, kick some tires or tell a few whoppers.

You will enjoy just meeting the guys.

I do agree that the diesel dudes could take a page from the Corvette guys about waving. :D :-laf

Remember it takes a while to get it started, but when one person does it others will follow. :p

jdahin,

How about if you bring some of the guys from Michigan to visit?

Then we will be obligated to run over to see your get together just to met who we will be waving to. ;)

just some rambling thoughts,

WAYNES WORLD

Dennis,

I'm home tonight.

Wayne, Dave was wise cracking about me "wanting a bigger exhaust".

I'm planning on being down there to watch the runs, of course my stock truck will be just watching the big boys... .

Johnny

john

I have been without internet access for around three weeks. I will try my best to make it. I do need a weekend off from house building.

I had to fix the cable problem myself as I couldn't get the cable company to do it! I hope the patch work works for a while anyway. This is me and the cable provider :-{}

David

Dennis, I will bring the checkbook :)

I know what you mean :-{} I fired comcast cable and went to DISH networks and to wireless internet no more problems! :-laf :D Hope to see you their. Tod Oo. Oo.

Tod,

Lets get together to talk about that dish conversion. ;)

We can talk figures there. :-laf

Johnny5,

Why not drive up on the dyno to get a baseline for future mods ? :p

Or we can adjust the fuel plate right there for your pleasure. :)

Dave,

How about a pair of 6" CHROMED STACKS up the back ???

jdakin,

The directions are on the first page. Take 94 west into Illinois, 80 west to the Minooka exit, [ 122 mm] left turn past the Pilot to the stop sign, across tracks r/t to visit us. Oo.

The McDonalds/ wendy"s are just before the stop sign, just in case. :D

There will be plenty of room there but Dennis will help you with the campground info, right at the junction of 55 & 80. :)

Wayne

April 23rd is still on. Everything is coming together nicely. The shop is making additional space out back for parking. There is a mud pit out back too if you want to play in it. The dyno is ready. We (Wayne) got some Cummins 'door prizes' . We are also looking at Tshirts and/Polos.

MELTDOWN IN MINOOKA is ON !!!! Oo. Oo.

Ok, I have the kids that weekend, but I have decided to come down there... ... . would like to put the pig on the dyno, would like to see what it is turning with the few mods have put in it... ... ... what time is this little shin dig going to go down?

Jake

Tod,

If you please, I would like the info on the complete dish system. ;)

Should I say dish it out ????? :-laf

Jake,

The good news is there will be plenty of people to help entertain the kids while you are on the dyno. :)

They can watch dad at play for a change of pace. :p

Dennis,

Did you post that camping info that jdakin was looking for? Dennis is the camper here.

I know you get off I-80 at I-55 north [ 126 mm ]. The first exit is 59 north. You can only go one way north, then turn around to go back south staying along the south bound frontage road. That will lead you to the campground.

ARE YOU GUYS READY FOR SOME SOOT ????

Wayne

I live 'right next door' to the campground. Its called leisure lakes. 815) 741-9405.

If you have passport america its half price. From RT 59/52 go south on 59. When 59 merges with I 55 stay right and get off on the frontage road. Go south about a mile or so and you will run right into it.

Let me know if you need more info.

Dennis

Wayne, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the post..... as a single parent I don't get much time to myself so for some to watch them for a few is a great suggestion, I was thinking about how I was going to get on dyno, the only thing I could think of was have someone else drive... ... but SURE I will take anyones offer to watch after them for a few... ... . Thanks again!!!!!

Now I am really excited!!!!
