Wayne, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the post..... as a single parent I don't get much time to myself so for some to watch them for a few is a great suggestion, I was thinking about how I was going to get on dyno, the only thing I could think of was have someone else drive... ... but SURE I will take anyones offer to watch after them for a few... ... . Thanks again!!!!!

Now I am really excited!!!!

Jake

Jake,

With all the big kids there, :-laf :-laf , we won't have any shortage of kid friendly watchers for you!!!!

Bring on the dyno!!!!

Do you have a rough idea of how many trucks will be there? You can count me in for one - 2 hours 45 min from Kalamazoo. I've driven farther to go to an auction - I hope nothing comes up between now and then.

I have no clue to what HP I'm actually putting down. I'm going to guess between 350 and 375 to the ground.

I better get my boost elbow dialed in before the 23rd. Piers says his HX 35 is set to waste at 29 lbs - I wanted more so I added an elbow and as set from manufacturer I need to get out of the pedal at 36 pounds because it seemed to be headed for more. I took it apart the other day and the set screw was bottomed out in the hole and thread lock sealed up what passage was left.

I've only got one eye so I usually leave it on the windshield at speed... ... ... ..... it would be nice if boost stops somewhere on it's own. lol

Eric,

If you can't get that rascal dialed in in time , we could look :p it while you are there. Oo.

Dennis is working on the list of trucks as we speak. :)

Tod,

We can talk at the event. I like the idea about the using it in the truck. :)

Looking forward to meeting a lot of new people!!!

Are kids people too????? :D

Yes ---since we are ALL kids too. :--)

Eric, I am not sure how many trucks will be there but its looking like it will be a good turn out. I will put your name on the list so you be sure to get on with your long drive.

Dennis

I have my fingers crossed, that I can make it. I still want to make a run on the rollers.

Stinks that a lot of the fun stuff is planned when us farmers are in the field, or getting stuff ready for it. :(

"I will put your name on the list so you be sure to get on with your long drive. Dennis"

---- it might be long..... but it'll be quick - Eric

Dennis,

Great news------ :--) :--) :--) :--)

Thats right----- Dave goerend is donating $$$$ 4 gift certificates.

We are getting some great prizes to be distributed at this event!! :D

bryan,

Keep the faith for a rainy week followed by a nice weekend!!! :-laf

How about the power from the wolverine making it to this event????:)

I need a head count on this. I want to do a cook out and need to make a schedule for the dyno. I really can't tell how many people are coming. If we don't have enough for the rollers (and I think we do) I will open this up to the local MOPAR muscle guys. The weather forecast looks good.

Gentlemen,

I went and did some testing (to re-familiarize myself with the machine) and we are going to use the old software. This means that we will be able to do power curves (accelerating only), 0-60 times, 1/4 mile simulation. There are a few other odd-ball tests, but these are the ones that most people seem interested in. But, in order for you to get the most from these tests, I will need an accurate vehicle weight to enter into the machine (especially for the 0-60 and 1/4 mile tests). So please, at least get a close estimation of your truck's weight. Otherwise you'll be subject to the whim of the operator (and I'll make sure that you definately don't have more power than ME!).

If anyone has any questions about the machine, now is the time to give them to me.

well it looks like I will show up too and maybe a friend along. I may bring both trucks???? any motels real close to the shop I can stay at Friday night?
