Lets do this again sometime!!!!

Wayne, already talking about a repeat. BTW I found a pair of glasses if anyone lost them.

As far as Jackson goes, my truck may be in a million pieces as I am contemplating switching to an AUTO.

Dennis

A repeat would be great!! I am going to go to Jackson as long as I do not break something else before then. My simple pilot bearing fix has now turned into a 13" clutch upgrade, I was suprised to see the center torn out of the clutch :{ . Even more suprising is that I had just been to South Dakota and back and then to Nebraska and back (one trip pulling 13800 and the other 10200  )with it torn up. Guess I was lucky I did not destroy the input on the trans or end up stranded. The good side is better clutch means now I can look for more power! Hope to see ya guys up there. Planning on making a weekend of it and bringing my camper. Karl

Wayne- ran out of cd's, got some today. So the video will be on the way Monday.

Dennis,

Let me know how the reconstruction goes. :-{}

I trust your wife will be assisting you in the surgery room. ;)

Let me know if you arte going just as a spectator. Oo.

Karl,

My thanks for your efforts in the video.

I know it will be worth the wait for it. !!!! :--)

Sorry to hear about your clutch failure, there seems to be a rash of that going around------- someone close to our event-----------

I'll watch the Mi. event for your attendance. :)

Reeeeeally? Hmmmm. I have a fresh auto. The Goerend transmission is great, has been absolutely flawless, but I still prefer to row gears. Wonder what problems there would be, with you having a 24v, to do a swap. PCM's and stuff like that. Shouldn't have to do any driveshaft work.

Aron - Have you had your truck on the Mustang since Minooka? I would be interested in what the numbers are as you had a good idea of what you were making before - might give an indication of number correction for mine.

Wayne - I thought I was a little wierd being too attached to my truck and after meeting you I'm glad to see I'm not alone. -

No not yet. But I am going to do some testing with the dyno in the near future. Sorry, this will be a closed event. I'll toss the thing on the rollers then and let you know how it does. Some time in the near future, I have to get on Kennedy's Superflow and tune my truck. The superflow software is just a bit more flexible than the Mustang. But that won't be for a few weeks.

Hey gang-

Would anyone happen to have video of my Roadrunner? Pehaps I could buy a copy of someone's video? Any info is appreciated!

Also, Aron-

Do you think that because my hp figures were off, could this have affected my 60' times? The reason I ask is cause 1. 30 seems awefull low for an 11. 7 sec. time. This was my fisrst time with this, so please excuse the dumb questions.

Thanks again,

Jim

Hey Dennis-

Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it. Did you get your clutch changed? Still thinking about the auto swap? I know with my auto I'm having an ongoing(every 6 months, for about a month) issue with the pressure switch and/or pressure solonoid. I've replaced them both, was fine for 6 months, started again for 2-3 weeks, went away for 5 1/2 months, has been back now for 3 weeks. The problem is that in overdrive, between 45-55mph, it "hunts" in and out of OD. More annoying than anything. Other guys have had similar probs. That, and the weird delay on the converter lock up( feels like an extra gear). Anyway... . thanks again,

Jim

Hey Jim. Do you have O/D locked out in town? I would, since you have 3. 54 gears. If it is hunting, it should be locked out 'til 50-55mph.

Just a thought.
