Colorado Springs Convoy to Denver

Any interest in a SD chapter?

Hey Guys and Gals, MNTom and I came up with a 'brainstorm'!! How about a northern group? We would like to extend an invitation to anyone in the area (even out of the area) that would be interested in an informal meet and greet so we can see what everybody wants. The plan is to meet an Embers Resaurant on 27th Ave. West in Duluth December 3rd at noon. Hopefuly we can get enough interested people to get the ball rolling. Any questions feel free to ask either MNTom or Duluth Diesel

Tom and Chuck.

now i gotta drive to the other end of the state now. come on chuck. well i'll see what the wife has to say about another day away.

The Fat Kid

Andy

The dates get so close, and come up so fast, I am hoping I can make this one. I missed the LaCrosse visit, due too sick kids and being home alone. Chuck ya know we could go to the Club Saratoga down in the warehouse district  ... ... ... ..... just kidding. FaT KiD, bring cash for the casino later that night... ... ... . later Jim.

It should be a fun get-together. I know we have a lot of Cummins folk up in this neck of the woods who have expressed interest but who can seldom get all the way down to the 'Cities. We plan on meeting up, grabbing some lunch, getting to know eachother, and discussing what we would all like to see for diesel events up here. We could discuss date/location for a wrench day, or plan an outdoor BBQ event and take over MNTom's entire yard with trucks! I want this event to involve anyone who wants to come and all makes of trucks. Hopefully the MNTDR group will add a few more people to the usual roster and we can plan some future events up north here. We are looking forward to meeting everyone! PM me or MNTom with questions! Spread the word!

I would be interested but can't make it that weekend. You guys should meet at the Saratoga instead... . :-laf :-laf I am originally from Duluth

Dunno about beer, but a trip to the 'toga would be a good idea for after the meet. :) I've been hearing good things about the staff down there lately, got some new hires I guess. ;)

OK I am coming. I know the "fat kid" is also and bring J/P. Billy Diesel is showing up to pick up his new HD slave cylinder from SBC, so all of us guys can drool over it... ... ... ... . :-laf

I won't be winning any races on the way up, Edge Comp is off to Utah to have it checked out. Which means, I have no boost fooler, and boy do I miss just that... ... ... ... can't hit 1000 degrees on the pyro. Guess 40psi and a overboost code is all that it takes to make sure I keep defueling.

Talk to ya guys Saturday... ... ... ... ... ..... :D

Whoohoo!!!

We are all set up to do a hostile take-over of the Embers back room. They know we are coming and are thrilled to have us for lunch. If anyone wants to or needs to do some wrenching on a truck, I have a decent little shop and large driveway. No heat though, so plan for that (if you have a portable, gas powered heater, bring it). Power and a little compressed air I do have. Just thought I'd offer my place if anyone wants to open a hood and get dirty after the meet. If anyone wants hotel info or tourist advice, I'll be happy to help those of you who are planning on spending some time in Duluth this weekend. It should be fun getting together and meeting some new people. We will also be discussing the possibility of a Spring 2006 Dyno meet up here. Tom and I tracked down a Mustang dyno and the owner would be thrilled to have us invade his shop. If there is enough interest, perhaps we'll set something up for May or June. This dyno will fit duallys.

See you guys there!

Would be intresting since we have givin up on the Mustang we use to run on due to its goofy numbers. Stock trucks were dead on but anything modded was way out of whack... ... ... ... talk to ya more Sat.

Sorry guys... I totally spaced the meet. I haven't been on the computer in weeks, wish I would have checked friday. Hope ya all had a good time.

Way to go, was looking forward to seeing the 64... ... ... ... ..... lol. It was OK met some new guys, then us out of towners walked Canal Park from place to place, till we got kicked out of the 'toga. Well 3 of us could have stayed, but when you are 20 that is not the place to be... ... ... ..... lol. Otherwise we drank some, ate some and just because food is out does not mean it is free... ... ..... lol. We then played pool and Fat Kid got picked on at the air hockey table... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . keep your stick on the ice will ya, he likes to throw it at people... ... ... lol, later... ... ... I got home around midnight, had a trooper following me so I just took it easy, didn't think I should smoke him out :D

JP, next time give me a call when I do something stupid like miss a meet so close. Jim, I wish I would have been there, could have went for a ride. I still have a miss though, haven't had time to look at it. Hopefully I just have the valves a little tight and I'm a little short on fuel. My fass and exhaust are still "on the way". I called Heartthrob, but I got a stainless magnaflow for $20 more... plus $50 for a tip... couldn't pass that up. (not from hearthrob)

Corey

Oh... and when I get the miss taken care of I REALLY "need" bigger injectors, I'm already used to the power... I want that dyno # to start with a 6, not a 5 when I get on it.

I had a lot of fun seeing all you guys again and exchanging stories. I'm glad everyone braved the cold and the drive and made it. Good company and good food... can't beat it. Thanks to all who attended!!! I will be following up with out summer plans for a venture on the lake. Once the ice thaws and the port opens, I'll start setting things up!!! Sorry I couldn't stay longer, dad had shopping to do and the wife was getting tag-teamed by the kids at home, so I had to jet.
