Hey MR. HVAC, I love the idea of parallel turbos, it seems to me if you take to big turbos you would still experiance lag and high egts of the smaller being super forced through by the bigger. Parrellel to me seems to be a better concept, or even three even littler turbos, But who am I? I'd like to go to the Valley w/ you to talk to someone who does know. Get back to me.
Fitz, My No2 is the simplest of NOS systems. Basically called a dry system because of the fact it doesn't add fuel. I have tried different ways of "setup", first I've had a micro switch that acctivated at full throttle, it takes to long to hit. When you consider I don't have an AFC spring, it gets full throttle instantly, so the way it is now consists of this=10lb bottle behind the seats with a #4 braided line going to a proshot silinoid, proshot is small but if flow up to 175 in gas motors, with a #4 out and a jet going to the intercooler line after the turbo.
The wiring is just as simple, two wires, one a ground, one hot, the hot is on a switch. When you turn the switch on and you have the bottle valve on its flowing, turn the switch off, and its not flowing.
As far as cost, I had the system off another car and made it work about 4 years ago. In other words I dont know the actual cost, shouldn't be more than about 350. The cost of No2 is usually about $4. 10 a lb, in other words about 43 bucks a bottle. I have good friend that gets it for 1. 68 a lb, I have 5 bottles, it last a wile, plus I have a filling station I get 300lbs for 1. 54 an lb. Each bootle lasts about 2 minutes of continuous use, that a long time. Hope this helps, Adam
