Have any of you guys had any trouble with the waist gate sticking and bleeding of your boost presure? Doesn't happen all the time just every so often but usually at the worst time posible. Once the rpms build up the boost will come back and the truck will run just as it always has. Thinking of getting rid of the waist gate but not sure if it will hurt anything or not?



I really need some help guys this problem is getting very anoying

When was the last time you serviced the waste gate. Might just need to cleaned and check the spring for proper tension. How many miles are on it??

Some of us have disconnected the pressure line to the waste gate with no APPERENT ill effects, Making 34lbs now and doing good.

got a 15mm combo wrench ?

i have a loaner compressor side on my truck , it has no provisions for the 2000 waste gate actuator so i just wird mine shut , seems to be acting a bit strange , but makes plenty o' boost ... i'd pull the turbo and have a look at it .

I have about 54,000 miles on it and the brass elbow on the presure line has been replaced with the one that came with my Power Max 2.



This might be a dumb question but how do you service the waste gate?
