The engine temp gauge is not getting to the 190 ish mark as it normally does although the needle does stay in the "normal" range. I would guess the t'stat is stuck open. Any other opinions? BTW, all other gauges are normal including EGT.

Does the temp gauge go past 190 then cool off to under 190? If it does the t-stat should be good. How long does it take to get to just under 190?

Tstat is a quick, easy, and cheap change... . no reason to worry about it being a problem, just swap in a new one from Mopar or Cummins and call it good.

it doesn't get to 190. it slowly climbs to just inside the normal range and stays put. And Josh, thanks for the quick and easy, but I need to wait til the weekend. so thought I'd query the experts.
