I would check with your insurance agent. Each states laws are different. As far as insurance goes..... in MN if it's over the property line... . whats hers is hers. . what's yours is yours. When it crosses the line..... it's yours. That being said... . if the Insurance guy says that..... I would also then assume (oh boy) that the laws would be along the same lines... ... and I'd cut away!

Tordon RTU is a systemic herbicide that will suck right down to the roots. All you gotta do is slash the bark or trim branches off and apply immediately to the cut area. Just do it a little at a time ,introducing it into the system of the tree and a gradual kill should result. Just make sure that a dying or dead tree is not worse for you than what is already there, From your standpoint, introducing it into the roots that come over on your side is the most undetectable way to kill this sucker. Do the deed by cutting the bark on the roots, apply Tordon, put soil over it ,and the tree will start dying on your side first as the Tordon attacks the root system.

Tordon RTU has a nasty habit of turning the cut areas a greenish hue, so the above ground application is going to show. You can buy it in Ohio as non-restricted at a farm chemical supply store,no questions asked. Pesticide availability varies from state to state, based on environmental laws.

I had a neighbor plant some bushes on my side of the line after he moved a survey stake [someone saw him do it] I just pulled the stake and killed the bushes with Tordon. His idea was probably to take ''adverse possession'' of the property by planting the bushes so I could no longer mow to my property line . After 15 years or so of him maintaining my property,it becomes his property.

Tordon was a heck of a lot cheaper than an attorney or getting a new survey. it also compliments his sneaky ,slimy act with an appropriate response.

Just

Call the local paper and put a ad in the paper for a "earlybird" estate sale.

Give her address, and say "earlybirds welcome, walk right in!" Call the power company and tell them you are moving and need the power turned off, of course, use her address. :D You can do the same with the gas... :-laf

Its 21 years in Ohio of continuous, open, hostile possession.

They may do it, but I know here they want to know your social # and other things. .

Just cut the tag off the meter late one night, pull it out of the socket/ Meter can, and chunk it somewhere far away. . They will bill her for a new meter. . Those are not cheap! :-laf :-laf :-laf Just some advice I was given by a fellow Lineman/TDR Member on here (No names)...

All this mess, and the poor tree is caught in, over, under, and all around the middle of it! Haha... Too bad it aint a mesquite tree. . I would say chop it down, and let us know when the BBQ is!! Keep us posted!

Just because i am young i will add my dilenquent opinon in on it. Tim go out and join a civil war artillery reenactment unit, then have the guys from your unit, and the TDR down for a combination get together/artillery firing. odds are you do this on a regular basis she will be begging to sell. or you could always go the old fashioned route, those cannons make a nasty hole in trees, houses, etc. just an off the wall opinion from a poor confederate soldier.
