so far my plans for my truck are pretty much set, but wallet doesnt agree. Cureently i have a smarty, clutch, gauges and afe. i plan on putting some II injectors, cp3 and gdp kit. im contemplating getting a turbo to get things cool right now but not sure if i should do it right now. i want something that will staisfy my needs for the later modifications that i have listed. what kind of turbo do you guys think i should go for? let me know

I would go with some suspension before adding anymore power, you have plenty to break parts with where you are at. :-laf Ask me how I know:eek:

you are very right bob. im actually considering cutting off the coil buckets and building hoops for coilovers. will see where that goes:-laf

No matter what style suspension you go with my guess is the front driveshaft will end up being a limiting factor.

Good luck, with whatever you end up with.

If I were you, I'd do the turbo next. You definitely want to get some more air into that setup. If you're looking for a good street truck that's a lot of fun to drive, something like High Tech's Super Stock 62/13 with the stainless exhaust housing is nice. I hear also hear good things about the II Super Phat Shaft series. Be careful not to go overboard on the turbo. Bigger is better only if you are always running at max power, such as sled pulling or dragging. If you just want the truck to get up and go when you step on the pedal at the light, then you'll have more fun with the smaller, less laggy turbos. After the turbo, your other easy alternatives for getting more air in there are an exhaust and a cam swap. The exhaust can be quite cheap since all you need to do on an '06 is swap out the muffler. The camshaft is one of my favorite upgrades.
