I have met this guy at local pulls (east bend, NC), that is one POWERFUL truck!! He usually pulls out of competition so us "little" guys will have a chance, = Nice guy.

the states that had a dhra sled pulls yet no trucks in the top 5 at Scheid's.

It looks like OHIO is central located, but nooo DHRA pulls. Maybe next year? Please, our front axles break every time it is taken out of state.

Kyle,

Its the promoters that are hard to deal with in Ohio, not the pullers. We try every year to get two pulls, and they fall through. We have a couple good contacts for 07, stay tuned.

I think what the numbers show is how difficult it is to stay in the top 5,let alone back to back wins, from one year to the next.

Reguar basis????

A Dodge has won 4 times (Ubly, Shiawassee, Armada, Hart).

A Duramax has won 10 times, 5 of those wins are mine. (Muskegon, Midland, Minden, Gladwin, Caro, Deckerville, Mt. Pleasant, Bad Axe, Harbor Beach, Genessee)

Duramaxes are 1st and 2nd in the points.

I've been in the top 10 at Indy and Scheid for the past two years (3rd, 6th, *10th, 3rd)

*after Sleddy remade the track for the 2nd half of the class & the finals got rained out

Where ya been Hoot... he has been here for 6 months. :-laf

Correction Tomac, nothing was remade, the clouds of dust were extra watered to keep the dust off the dragstrip, as the rules stated. So those guys had to pull in mud, a disadvantage to them.

Pullers need to learn how to pull well on all surfaces, with different sleds, and stop making excuses.

Oh, and I recall a FORD whipping you in quals at Schieds last year, what was your excuse there? :-laf

Sleddy, get the DHRA in at Canfield and you'll be King For A Day...

LOL!! Do you remember our exhibtion pull at the 4x4 Jamboree? The fair guys built the track for us... ... ... the roller was buried.

Canfield will have to do some apologizing, and assure us those guys will stay away from the pulling track. :-laf

We'll see what happens with who gets the bid for the fair next year.

Well it's a good thing we brought home the Gold for Indiana on Friday!

Top 5's are getting hard to get at any pull these days when you have 20+ top 5 trucks. Especially when you have 2 Super Street trucks in that class.

Well, for what they had to start with on Saturday, I think they did all right. I was surprised it had as much grip as it did. It's a shame that the weather turned out that way for such a nice event. Kinda reminded me of the EEP Charity pull last year... . which hurricane was that?

If you guys could get Canfield, I think you would have one of the premiere events in the country, and I'm sure there would be awesome competition.

Oh, they knew HOW, they just didn't want any other pull on those grounds except for their fair, 2 months away.

Our sled guy fooled them, and Tomac just moved the track sideways into the grass, and we had a good pull, anyway!!

Hey Gene when will you guys have an idea of what your possible schedule for next year will be??? We talked to you at Reedsville, WV on what it takes to get DHRA into our area (Northern, VA, Winchester, Harrisonburg area). . There's alot of guys around here asking and talking that they would love to have you guys come this way. I do understand that we'd definately have to make it during the time of year where everyone would be able to make it and when the weather is almost guarenteed to be somewhat decent because, we would definately like to see the some of the big names out this way... We also want to show these people exactly what a "REAL" diesel class is like... No one around here has ever seen the real mods like Scheid or The Haisley's run... The people around here think that our trucks are wild and we didn't even stand a chance against Dan Painter or Robert Miller in the Street Class!!!!
