Notification issues...

Anyone else not being notified of subscriptions/PM's?


My email or settings haven't changed and I am not sure how long this has been going on.

The website is not on my blocked senders list.

I use hotmail. What about you?

I have my TDR account linked to a hotmail email address also.

I wonder if the site is on the hotmail blacklist?

We come up clean on the remote blacklist check for dozens of lists:

Hotmail, unfortunately, does not support an external blacklist check and when they block emails they usually don't bounce it back to the sending server - so there's no way to know. Best bet is to contact them and ask them to let emails from @turbodieselregister.com through to you, because we've got everything setup properly on this end. This sort of thing usually happens when someone reports multiple emails as spam (which they aren't since they signed up for them) rather than unsubscribing.

Hotmail won't unblock it for me. They need the website to fill out this form.

How did you contact Hotmail? I was looking last night and all I could find was the "Virtual Agent" which was no help.

From the virtual agent I was able to get a chat going.

I wouldn't waste your time thou, it did me no good and too much time.

I filled out the form a couple of a minutes ago. Fingers crossed because after submitting it there's a message that they look into these matters but they do not send replies or other notification of action(s) taken.

It's working now. I just received notifications through hotmail.

I actually received a response from them, quite a surprise. They have given TDR a "conditional" white listing, and it will take up to 48 hours to reach all hotmail servers. Plus I created an account on their mail IP monitoring system so I can keep tabs on it.
