Nov 4th KC Play day at the Strip

Well Since Eric and I thought about this a while I guess I'll get it rolling. Sunday NOV 4th 12 to 4PM at KCIR raceway we will be haveing a little grude racing and get together. This will be the First Heartland All Diesel club meeting. Heartland will not be a real organized club but can be if a few people want it too. Anyways that's another story. THis is weather permitting because it is November in Missouri. I would like some people to offer bringing up some GAS Grill(I still have 9 gallons of propane) And food and drinks Tail gate and race and have a good time and for the first timers who want to tame the 1/4 mile Directions are pretty easy. Go I-70 to Noland RD. head south on Noland Rd about 5 Miles. Then as you are reaching the 5 mile mark on the ODO start looking to your left when you see a GOLF DRIVING range the next thing you come too is KCIR raceway. It costs 10 Bucks to enter and race as much as you like. You must wear a helmet when Racing it is a track requirement. ALso your truck must run through tech which they check to make sure the battery's are fastened down and you have a radiator overflow jug. Like I said I need volunteers for food drink and grill! I hope everyone has fun this will be kinda the last bash of the year unless we want to organize a Christmas Party.

Just for your info I am gonna try to goto KCIR Nov 11th and 18th for sure. And maybe the 25th.

I think it might be "too soon" to get a big interest in it. And as for the tech check... ... um they have never opened my hood. They just grin when I pull up and write the number down.

Well I guess I should say all through November then. Because the weather will start changeing pretty radically by the middle of november. So I guess every weekend in november we will be out there just come on out. I'll still race ya when ya get that turbo! I have a trick up my sleave too!!!

Oh Eric you may have given up on the date but KCIR is in a court battle to keep th e track up and running the MONEY so to speak in KC are trying to shut them down so the Scedule has been up in the AIR I had to wait untill they give out the official info before I do anything. Oh I will race my Diesel so any stock cummins that wants to come out and put the hurts on a PSD nows your chance.

No Problem! I should hopefully be on ET Streets with the Lightning. This should be on EDIT on the First Post I am thinking about meeting at a Park close to the race track or the RAILROAD Park here in Blue Springs about 8:30AM on Sunday Nov. 4th Then we can do all our BBQing and stuff get everything ready to go and take the stuff to the track or eat it at the park then go to the track but I think this idea will fall on deaf ears I just think it would be easier to do it this way than try and do the BBQing and watch the trucks run. I think let everyone eat then relax a little on the drive to the track then race. And I dont think KCIR will allow tailgating I will write Jeff and see for sure.

Well looks like work is gonig to interfere..... theres too many people on vaction for me to get the 4th off. However I MAY try to work saturday night.....come race..... and work sunday night... . we'll see how much rest I get.



Nov 11th and 18th I am DEFINATLY coming tho.

hey greg it sounds great to me. If the 4th is still on I will be there. I should be feeling better by then,had the flu for a couple of days now. I do want to run my truck to see what it will do be fore I put all my stuff on this winter. I think you guys will be impressed next year because I have alot of plans this winter. I probably cant beat kats time due to having manusl trans,but thats ok I'm not into being king of the hill I'll call you later this week. see-ya John

Theres absolutly no way I can get off work Saturday or Sunday night... . if i could get one or the other I would come. But I don't think i can work all night Sat night, then race sunday, work all night sunday night... . it wouldn't be "fair" to my crews out in the field to goto work like that. I actually do "care" bout my crews in the field... .



The 11th is a sure thing (i don't think you'll be there) and the 18th I am working on. Me and John have ALOT to discuss with winter projects I wanna turn some serious heads next year... ...

Eric I went there was a black dodge quad cab short bed turned a 16. 15 didnt catch the MPH it was decent it somoked a little off the line I went 16. 58 and a 16. 59 both at 84MPH but I was a killer on the tree . 538 and a . 579 light I think is good compared to my usual . 8's and . 9's Oh well it was kinda week turnout. another buddy of mine in his stock F-350 flat bed dualie went 18. 1's stock with a k&n and straight pipe
