NEW 2002/3500 4X4 CTD loaded for $30,499??

The sad thing is there isn't a damn thing you or I can do about it either. The government is going to do what ever the he11 they want to do to keep all the tree hugging wackos quite. #@$%! They can go ahead and shut down the farms in the country and then we can import all are food like we do are oil. That has never caused any problems, has it?

I know alcohol burning cars require more fuel than a gas motor car does. Because my friend tryed to make his own alcohol and run his car on it. He installed bigger jets in the carb just to get it to run. He got tired of it then switched it back to gas.

As for biodiesel. I have not read that the fuel mileage suffered any. I haven't read that there was any difference in performance of the motor. I just know that that it burns cleaner and provides better lubrication to the valve area.

I through the biodiesel idea out there, hoping someone from one of the states (like navada) can tell us that it is the best thing, or it's not as good as advertised. Personally I do not have a diesel. I would like a diesel PT cruiser. I figure the only way I will see one in the US is to try and get diesel fuel cleaned up (like in europe) so we can see more diesel vehical in the US. Why is it only VW able to bring small diesels to market? Mitsubishi use to. Mercedes use to. Now it just seems like it's only the full size truck and bigger. I'd love to see diesel electric hybrid in something like the neon, Pt cruiser and intrepid police cruiser. I figure if Ford can install a V10 truck motor in their crown vic. Why can't dodge install a truck motor in their next generation intrepid. Produce lots of torque to make that car scoot. Add electric hybrid to the car. Then it can run on electric power to creep up quiet on people. The electric motor will help in high speed accelleration too. As for transmission. Eather a 6sp to keep the RPMs down or one of those constant speed trannys like what saturn has. This idea to me will start the diesel electric hybrid super car craze. Better fuel milage and lots of torque to playwith. Instead of, what does your car put out for horse power. The conversation will turn to what does your car put out for torque.

Reminds me of a low flush toilet, would use less water if you didn't have to flush it twice.

Anybody know if the Mexican trucks that will be coming across the border via NAFTA have to meet US emissions requirements?

Brian

Brian they will have to to get in the country. You can still buy VW bugs in Mexico for $5k, but you can't take them across the border.
