Based on the P2262 code and physical issues where it seems the exhaust brake is sticking open, I'm thinking a new actuator or re-built turbo is right around the corner.
Today new issue. High EGT's at a stop. 1,000 deg. F and not coming down. Upon moving still high then more normal. Some very slow no load driving and they're starting to climb to 1,000 deg. F again.
So why such high temps with no boost, idle RPM's and what seems like no added fuel?
Is it safe to turn the engine off with 1,000 deg. F temps. With my old mechanical 7.3, I waited for temps to bottom before sitting down.
