Seems to be a real pain to find, but I need a dodge, 29-spline, passenger side drop, NP205 to bolt behind a getrag. Anyone got a line on one I can buy?

Thanks a lot!

It might in gasser form, but the 205 behind a Cummins auto or getrag takes a 1410 series u-joint. At least the rear output and rear pinion yoke. You can search 1st gen forum, 1410, bgilbert and get plenty of ujoint info. I'm sure anyone of our TDR drivetrain vendors can set you up with what you need, be it Standard gear or Quad4x4.

I have one behind an automatic in a '92 Diesel. Will that work?

I was saving it for a conversion prokject, but I would rather have a driver side drop with fulltime 4Hi. I still need an education on what my other options are.

You can replace the 23 spline input with the 29 spline input. Quad 4x4 has the parts and instructions. I believe there is some machining involved for a larger bearing race and a larger seal.

I need 1 for the 93 auto 4X4 conversion project-axle also-email me -- email address removed --

What is the output shaft diameter and spline length on the automatic? I would like to know if I can mate a Dodge automatic overdrive to the NP228 in my Jeep. It is also 23 spline count, but I'd be surprised if the shafts are the same diameter.

Can anyone verify that the output of a getrag is identical to a NV4500? I want to know if a 205 will bolt up directly behind both... Thanks.
