My 2001 2500 shortbed has gone over the warranty miles. New but adventurous at diesel work. Would like to go slowly with upgrades and am considering the aFe Stage II system to start with before I go on. What kind of increase of torque and mileage and horses has anyone gotten with this system? My first time on the thread but a long time reader of the best mag out there. Ideas anyone?

Any intake will mostly likely not give you any noticable hp increase, but the idealy will lower egts, increase spoolup, and help your engine breath a lot better. How has your last 100k been?

The last 100k have been great. Still manage 20 mpg, regular by the book maintenace, but am interested in getting better mileage, horses, and a little more pulling power. Everything is stock, automatic, your basic run of the mill great truck. On long trips pull a 34 ft fifth wheel, quick trips a pop-up camper.

Have fun/bring money.

Gauges, Aftermarket transmission, Mild injectors, Chip/ECM, exhaust brake/4in Exhaust, BHAF. Have fun.
