Competition Sea trials begain

Competition DHRA-Houston, attention pullers

I thought I saw a pic of it in one of the issues of Diesel Power or the other one on newstands right now, but I could be wrong.

Well figured the track out by the sponsorship banner. Its Northern Lights Raceway in Fort John,BC but their website while it has a cool start is under construction. .

Inland Chrysler/Dodge, The Bubba Bee.

I'm told Buddha Power had his hands on some of those engine parts under that hood. Way to go Buddha!!

I hate the metallica and metallica like back ground music on most of these videos. . come on people, there are more then just metallica CD's out there!

other then the crappy back ground music, it's rather cool.

I'm from a nearby town, and have seen that truck built up from a stock long box reg cab 2wd Cummins. Shawn (owner) claims theres around $165,000 into that truck (testing and retesting), but his family owns the Dodge dealership in a sky-high booming oilpatch town (Dawson) and sell more than enough Dodges to pay for it (and fix enough of them too). Anyway, its a high 10s truck usually (dialed in at around 10. 9 at Chetwynd). From what I see its broke more than it runs.

I'll admit, I have no idea who that was playing, but they sure sound a lot like metallica.

BTW, anything post Metallica Black, sucks :) IMHO :)

What motor is in the truck? 12, 24, Common Rail ?

How in world is it possable to spend that much on a truck to only run 10's. That sounds like the biggest waste of money. If I wanted 10 I's get a simple street drag car.

Seriously though I can see spending $100K but not an additional 65K.

I call BS.

It is a impressive truck though. If MagDog can run 10 flat in his crewcab this guy should be into the 9's with all the money spent.

As far as nothing after the Black album... well duhhhh, everyone know's that... :-laf
