I asked a friend at work who lives in Half Moon Bay. She says:



Holiday Inn Express-



It's reasonable, but right on Highway One. Lots of traffic and lots of noise. Good Mexican place almost right next door.



Miramar Lodge-



The Miramar lodge is set back a little more from road and looks like a nicer place. It has a great Hawaiian place really close to it. Yes it is a bit futher down the road, but it would be a lot quieter.

Is this blast expected to be a weekend long thing, or just a one day event? If only one day, I would plan to return home to Sacto area the same day, but if I need to make a hotel reservation... I'm thinking it better be darn quick.

I don't think we have any time limits at this point--your decision to stay as long as you want--really though it's a one day thing, but depending how many come in from out of town and how long they plan on staying I'd think we'd have breakfast or at least lunch together on Sunday--just going to play it by ear----chris

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express. Whats a little noise after listening to my truck for 11 hours.
