I had my NOx adsorber stolen out from under my truck today at work. I cannot find anywhere what the cost of this part is. I iwll start calling around to my local shop tomorrow but just wanted an idea of what this will cost.

Truck is a 2009 2500 all stock.

took it it a shop today and found I was wrong it was the DPF. So I got a DPF delete even though I did not want one. Was told only the dealers can get those for parts to replace. He said Walker is trying to manufacturer them but cannot produce enough for the aftermarket. Now I just wait for the insurance to tell me where to go for the repair.

As a general rule each part was $2,000. The CAT, the NAC, and the DPF for a total of $6k if you had to replace it all. The sad part is they probably thought they were stealing a giant CAT, and there is not any money in DPF's for scrap compared to a CAT.
I just looked on one web site and they are paying $10 for a DPF, but several hundred for a CAT. What a waste for the insurance company that they stole a $2,000 part and sell it for $10.
