Off Roading Rock Ring?

Competition 0-60 time compared to 1/4 mi.

Is there any model NP205s that will bolt to my auto transmission?

I'm more of a GM guy and not familar with the bolt patterns and spline counts of the Dodge autos.

I am aware that the '205 is a RH drop Vs a LH drop of the NV 'case. What I am considering is installing a '205 so I can install the front axle I have out of a '92 dodge(D60). This way I can get rid of the CAD and weaker bearing/hub assemblies.

Thanks, Dan

Have you considered the Dynatrac kit to convert your front end to a lockout hub setup? It is pretty pricey, but I think it would in the end be easier then what you want to try. I would think it would be easier than trying to setup the old front diff for spring perches, drag link mount, steering, and ladder bar mounts. The kit changes the axels shafts out, and the spindle housings to what you are accustomed too. You lose the CAD junk and get lockouts. They even offer 35 spline inner and outer kit. Wish I could talk you out of the 92 dana 60f. I could make a good home for it, honest:D

I looked into the dynatrac hubs. That is part of the reason for wanting to use my dana60. $1700 just to install the hubs and upto $3200 for the stage 3 kit.

For $3200 I would just have them build a completely new high pinion D60. DTS will re-tube my 60 housing and put the center section on the LH side for $1600. If I'm gonna spend the money I'd rather completely ditch the ball jointed CAD axle all together. For big tires I would rather have a one peice long axle tube.

I have even considered retubing the axle myself. Have access to mills and lathes. But if I can get a '205 to bolt upto my transmission that would be cool. Then I could set up my PTO winch in the bed also.
