And what gives us the right to insist that China continue to live in the 1800's while we drive expensive trucks with cheap fuel pulling our 5th wheel campers? Hopefully, China's explosive economic growth will bring down the communist gov't and bring some political balance to the area.

I wasn't suggesting that China be blockaded or something. I'm just pointing out that their exploding economy is pressuring commodity prices. I'm not presenting it as good or bad - just fact.

Rusty and NPS, while I'm generally in the opposition to your positions on issues, you are both absolutely correct here. And I like Klenger's point - maybe the fruits of capitalism will drag the seeds of democracy with it into China.
