Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) NV-4500 leaking

just noticed a small leak at the back seal, this is covered by the 100k warrenty right?

Not warranty unless you have the extended warranty.



Is it leaking between the 4500 and xfer case or xfer case and driveshaft?

leaking at the back of the 4500 itself. (already experienced the transfer case leak... several times, thanks to the stealer not knowing how to use the right silicone)

My transmission has been replaced 3 times for leakes D/C did tell me the first time to stop using Amsoil. The 1st transmission had a leak then Murphy's Law took over. the 2nd transmission someone left the tail bushing out ,the 3rd is doing fine Good Luck with D/C

NV4500 leaking at the bell housing on the front of the transmission and where the sides where the square metal sheets are bolted.
