Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) NV-4500 Rebuild Photos

Can anyone point me to any pictures of the internals of the NV-4500 trans?



Looking to do a rebuild (bearing/syncros,mainshaft upgrade) in the future - pictures are kind of like the MRI before surgury.

Give Standard transmission a call, they can supply you with a manual to rebuild the NV4500. I believe it was $40.

You can buy a rebuilt Standard transmission NV4500 for around $1500 with all the latest stuff. Just installed one today.

Did your rebuild include ALL new parts as in the Big Tex Meal Deal (see below) or do they not put a new part in if it is in spec. ?

“Big Tex Big Meal Deal” – like the Texas Chili Dog, plus a new cluster and maindrive (input) gear.

The new input gear they provide is 1-1/4", right?



Add another $850 for the 1-3/8" input shaft and you're right in the neighborhood of a used or even rebuilt NV-5600...
