I am having problems with my 5 speed transmission. Engine running,. will not slip into gear 1st or second, third and fourth no problem. recently changed to amsoil. 188 ks Any ideas?
Is the clutch releasing? I'd bet not. Place the rearend on jacktands and try starting it in gear and see what happens when the brake is applied with the pedal depressed. I'm guessing that hydraulics went south. Just my . 02.
if itf from a start its more than kikely pilot bearing or clutch is not fully disengaging. there is still a small chance it is an internal transmission problem. imsure you checked fluuid level
Mine was always tough to get into reverse and first, the pilot bearing was worn. Also, the stock hydraulics were too weak for the new clutch, so on mine it was probably a combination of the two.
