The 5600 capacity is 9. 5 pints assuming no fastcoolers etc. Change on level surface and fill till it comes out the fill plug hole works as good as anything.

To overfill it a bit, run both left wheels up on tire ramps . this lets you put in like almost 2 quarts over. .

I have the new Trans coolers and I have like 6 or 7 quarts so when it is tilted like that, I fill til it runs out... This seems to do pretty good for towing.

I would put in 8 qts through the shift tower. The rear main bearing needs all the help getting lube that you can give it. I started out with 11 qts but it was too much, 8 should be fine.

Godspeed,
Trent

Thanx to a dealer service in Sioux Fall... I found out the hard way that you can run one for quite awhile on 4 qts with Fast Coolers... . But once you get up to about 85 the trans will lock solid. So much for trained techs knowing how to check dipsticks.

Welp you got me, I didnt pay attention to your whole post with fast coolers so thats my fault. Ill def pay better attention next time!
