New short block or low mileage?

Red Line 85+ Fuel Additive - cheap supplier?

I know the front driveshaft needs to be 6" longer and the rear driveshaft needs to be 6" shorter. I think the crossmember is the same, and the clutch, this is an '02 so it has the 1 3/8" input shaft. I think they use the same bellhousing as the 5-speed and I knoe the t-case is the same.

You my want to make sure it came off a 2wd or 4wd truck. the tail end of the housing are different on a NV5600. I learned that when I swaped out my 5 speed.

I think the seller will be in for a shock we he goes to ups it for $30. 00(if it's not over their weight limit)

That is a 4x2 transmission. I just compared it to the pictures I have of mine...

The patriot, I converted my '98 and it was easy. See my mods page here for info and pictures of my conversion.

I saw the shipping for $30 too. I know one of the cheapest methods goes the wrong way around the world on a pallet and still costs a flat rate of $150 to the lower 48.

Looks like he just changed his way of shipping, probably found out it'll cost more then what he gets for it!!!

I just ordered a transmission and it cost $108 to ship it from LA to Seattle. Got to me in 3 days. I should look at the freight label.

Hey Guys, any idea what that tail housing for a 4X4 would cost? Is it available??? I'm the "current high bidder" on that trans, forgot to look closer!! I'm overseas and can't call the Dealer

Thanks Tom

Just talked to Dan at Quad 4X4 in Montana, seems I have to change the mainshaft also, jut like I thought, and he has all the stuff. Shouldn't cost a whole lot (I hope) Give me a chance to go through it anyway! And what better time to upgrade the clutch!!
