Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) NV 5600 Problems

Hello World,,,,,,, 2001 Dodge 2500 HO with Nv 5600 trans problem.

Does anyone have an ideal, where I can get a manual on the NV 5600 and a parts breakdown. 150K non misuse or abuse trans lock up........

Genos has shop manuals on cd or print cheap I'd go the CD route

Thank you can you tell me about your transmission filter also do you know of a real transmission cooler

This I devoloped for my G56 but it will adapt up to a NV5600. The OEM auto trans cooler will bolt up to the radiator of a manual equiped truck. BUT that cooler is for a 3rd Gen, with that being said any aftermarket cooler would still work. The filter is amazing it also adds almost half quart oil capacity they really keep the oil clean in fact your transmission oil will be cleaner couple hundred miles after you put it in than at first because it's hard to get all the black oil out of the case. Quad4x4.com has the filter kits and filters .
