I serviced my NV4500 prior to making a trip to Florida (1300mi) and shortly after arriving here it has developed an oil leak which appears to be from the top of the transmission. I have not crawled completely under the truck yet but what could be leaking? I will check the vent tomorrow but could the shifter be leaking? I dont think I overfilled it but anything is possible. Thanks, Charlie.

Mine was the leak where the shifter bolts to the transmission. Snugged it up and never had the problem again before trading the truck.

Thats what it was, 3 of the 4 bolts were loose causing the leak . Tightened them up and cleaned up the trans, no leaks after 20 miles. Thanks, Charlie.

Forgot to mention that I used some blue Locktite (non-permanent) to keep it from happening again. Sounds like you got it. Mine was the same, 3 out of 4. Glad I could help. Alan
