nv4500 swap info

Well with your wonderfull information I took the plunge two weeks ago when my getrag died and swapped my truck over to the nv4500. My question to you guruus now is how to make my speedometer work accurately. Any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks Andy.

Andyr, "just" a thought... . Does the NV have the same style gear drive and the ratio adpter off the transmission to the spedo head? You can <with the Getrag> get different adpators to work for taller tires, etc, etc. like I said, just a thought. On another note Can you supply me <us> with the total conversion cost? Thanks, Mike
