NV4500 transfer case adapter?

The adapter between the NV4500 and transfer case has cracked on my 2001. Are the cast iron adapters worth considering as a replacement? If so what vendor is recommended?

If they are machined straight, they can be an upgrade. I have used a couple, and just caution you to use enough RTV so they don't leak. If you want a stock aluminum one, I have one.

I ordered one from RockAuto and should have it installed this week. I'll let everyone know how it works out.
