Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) nv4500 with pto problem?

i put a pto on the right side pto and it works perfect,but it makes a slight rattling noise. i have put many pto. s on. i know how to shim them. i bought this pto for a 4500. so i know i have the correct one. you can barely hear it but its there. anyone else put a pto on a 4500?it sound like its coming from the pto itself. it does not make i differnce if its on or off. or under load same noise. i tried the paint on the gears and good,and it has about 1/2 inch or a little less play. thank you
