Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Nv4500

I am rebuilding my NV4500 5speed and replacing the main shaft. Hopefully the 5th gear nut will stay on . The people I ordered the shaft from said I should put in 5 qts. of fluid. I read on here before about adding more to the NV5600 to lube the rear bearing, but have not seen anything on the NV4500. The book calls for 3. 5 qts. If I overfill will it cause to much pressure? Don't want to blow any seals.
